Default Need advice on setup

Just got all my pieces together for my system except the sub, sub box, and amp. Didn't pay too much attention but now I am a little concerned about my amp over powering my speakers. What do you guys think? Its not by much except on the 5 1/4". I was thinking about putting the dash speaker on the same channels as the rears but that would not allow the fader to work, eliminating the surround sound. Here is the whole system:

Headunit: Panasonic CQ-VD6503U http://www.crutchfield.com/S-5xcSOwx...sp?i=133VD6503

Amp: Infinity Reference 7541a 111 RMSx4 channels http://www.crutchfield.com/S-5xcSOwx...1a&i=108R7541A

Front Speakers: Infinity Kappa 60.7cs 90RMS http://www.crutchfield.com/S-5xcSOwx...7cs&i=108607CS

Rear Speakers: Infinity Kappa 52.7i 55RMS http://www.crutchfield.com/S-5xcSOwx...2E7i&i=108527I

Dash Speaker: Infinity Kappa 32.7cf 35RMS http://www.crutchfield.com/S-5xcSOwx...7cf&i=108327CF

I'm using the exact front and rear speakers as you, with an Infinity 104.7W dual voice cone 10" sub in the back.I decided to eliminate the dash speaker, and use that space for my nav and XM antennas.I'm using two amps-an Audiobahn A4004V 4-channel for the cabin speakers, and an Audiobahn A6005DN mono for the sub. They have built in cooling fans and plenty of adjustment for crossover points for low and high pass filtering plus bass boost.Pioneer Avic D2 for the hu/nav.I'm waiting for the sub box and amp rack(which should have shipped from Tennesee this week)before getting started on the install.Everything else is piled up and ready.

I am just worried about the kappas being 2ohms and the amp pushing out 139 watts RMS @2ohms and the 5 1/4" kappas only rated at 55 watts RMS. I was told by crutchfields that I would be ok if I turned the gain down almost all the way to the rear. Still makes me worry though.

The sensitivity of thre Kappas is such that it doesn't take much power to light 'em up.it is something like 95db,and meant to sound good even with a low output factory amp and hu.

Peak power on the 5.25 Kappas@ 2ohms is 165 watts. You won't be pushing them that hard with your current amp.

That is peak. My amp pushes out 139RMS @2 ohms continuous. RMS rating on the 5 1/4" kappas is 55watts RMS. I could turn the gain down half way on my amp and still overpower the speakers technically. Unless I am missing something.

Turn the gain on the amp all the way down. Turn the head unit (HU) up to 75% or so and then the amp gain up until it starts to distort, then back down a touch. If the amp gain is only 25%, all the better. It's called "head room" and will give you a better sound quality (sq). It will also give you the most "swing" on the HU volume control, meaning a little volume won't blow you away, or a lot of volume and it still isn't loud enough. That's a little simplistic, but there you have it.
