Default New System Took A Dump - Help Please

i added a pac-oem, an amp, and sub. hooked up worked like a dream. took extra time ran everything clean and a sweet addition. i then added an xm terk and took the same special care hooked it up last night and another great add on. it was all working sweet and i shut her down and called it a night. tonight i was going to put the interior back and take her for a spin. i noticed that the xm didnt sound as nice as the head unit, a little bit of an echo sound, but i was able to live with it. i turned the head back over to fm and then i realized no base. the power light wasnt on at the amp. i checked the remote wire with a test light and it has fire. i then realized that i lost all base even in the stock amps WTF. i had to cut the cor-har 3 plug and soldier it in, i spliced the green to #15 on the back radio plug and i tied the ground and power to the acc plug in the pass. footwell. top left corner beside the comp. please guys help me get my baby back together again. thanks

ok im thinkin maybe something is wrong with the PACAOEM1.

Your post was partially unclear for me I understand your amp isnt turning on, now is there or is there not power on the remote wire.

I believe the stock bose has a fuse somewhere it could be this

hey pentavolvo, i dont know how ive got so stupid. i put a meter on the amp and the batt. power read 9.98 volts and the remote read 8,98 volts. battery is all the sudden dead. charger on now. i posted a thread lat night about the terk wireing. the power lead had a yellow and a red. i ran the red to the power acc. plug that is in the pass. footwell area. i hooked red to the orange full time power wire and the yellow to the yellow acc. wire that only powers with the key on. i am wondering if the terk may have drained the battery

An XM receiver hooked to an always hot line will definitely kill your battery. Either change the power to an ignition source or maybe look to see if the Terk has an auto-off option. I know the SkyFi's have an option to automatically power down after X number of minutes to prevent an oops like this.

if you have any more electrical gremlins in your car (reduce power mode for example) don't fret, it's probably due to your battery and you may have to buy a new one. (speaking from experience)
