HU to Zune Compatibility
I got a gift certificate for Christmas and was thinking of buying a Zune with part of it. Is there a way to connect the Zune to a Pioneer HU easily. I am going to be upgrading the stock stereo system in my truck soon and was thinking of going this route.
yes there is an auxilary input adapter for the pioneer radios you would run a cable from the headphone jack on the zune to the aux input on the pioneer and you would have sound then
no, this is what you need http://sonicelectronix.com/item_2084.html some stores liek circuit city will stock it but for about 60 dollars, you get that then a cable from radio shack to go from rca's to headphone plug and you are set

Thanks for the help. That will help out in the decision making process. One more quick question for you since you are helping me out. I have XM and I think it connects by this IP bus connector, is it going to be one or the other? Or do I have to pick up another adaptor to run both?

Thanks. I appreciate your help. Now I really have to decide to go ahead and buy now or wait a little bit and see if they come down some. I don't know a whole lot about MP3 players but for some reason the Zune intrigues me.
