Default Mount amps behind taillight section in C5?

First off, the car is a '99 hatch.

I know some people have mounted amps on the rear-most wall in between the taillights. Has anyone mounted amps on either side of this area behind the tails? I have three amps and would like to build out the middle area and the two sides if it's feasible for the amps. My amps are about 12" wide, so they're not monstrous. I can not fit all three amps in that area though and I'd like to keep the middle area for mounting my crossovers on each side of the amp. I have two sets of crossovers (Kicker SS65.2 and Kicker SS56.2 components) which I thought would look cool flanked on each side of the amp. I also have a 2 farad cap I need to find a spot for which is chrome to match the Fosgate amps. I want a cool looking installation without losing too much storage room in the Vette.

Two of the RF amps are 100x2 and the third is 800x1 and RF's web-site recommended a cap. Either way, I've always run capacitors. I have an orange Mustang convertible I did an installation on years ago and the cap helped out. Funny thing is people are always talking about upgrading the "big three" on the Vette, but I did that on my 'Stang years ago! It helped too for sure. I'll be doing that on the Vette in the near future after I get the amps/speakers all set up.

In case anyone is curious, the amps are Rockford Fosgate P4002 (two of them) and RF P8002.
