Default AVIC D2 double din install questions

I have a few questions ...un-answered by searches.

1. Other than C5kidd who else make a double din bezel with a factory look? How to contact "leather express" who puts on factory finishes??

2. What wire do I use to hook up the Speed sensor on the navigation unit?

3. What is the purpose of the "parking brake switch" that is used with the navigation....and can it be bypassed somehow?

4. What is the purpose of the Brake light switch on the Navigation unit?

5. Will I have any codes when I remove the stock radio? I am not using the Bose amps.....are there any harnesses or bypass modules I need other than the antenna?

6. Anything else I need to know about...please post it...Thanks

I appreciate any input ....Thanks Tom Ulrich

www.corvettecaraudio.com does them and it's www.leathermagic.com

it's required by law to deactivate some features while driving. i think it can be bypassed but you may have to build a simple circuit
What is the purpose of the Brake light switch on the Navigation unit?
i assume you mean the reverse light switch? it's to activate the rear view camera mode if you have a camera hooked up
Will I have any codes when I remove the stock radio? I am not using the Bose amps.....are there any harnesses or bypass modules I need other than the antenna?
no
Anything else I need to know about...please post it...Thanks

It also lets the Nav unit know that the car is moving backwards so it can adjust where you are on the map.
