Looks like the D2 is history. Pioneer just announced that the D3 will be introduced early this year. D3 will play DVDs and have expanded Bluetooth capabilities. Now I understand why retailers don't have the D2 in stock.
That's great. I just installed the Neucleus iPod controller and have a Parrot Bluetooth sitting on the shelf waiting for Parrot's Corvette adaptor to be introduced in two weeks.

you can get the z1 now, it might not have the same ipod control speed wise, but its all there, bluetooth, dvd playback, and ipod interface.
