Default C5: Grounding point

I was looking at the pass. rear seat bolt, but how do you physically attach it to that large bolt? The eye of the terminals are not that big. Do you have to buy special terminals?

There are rings that will clear the bolt, I used some that fit with my 0ga wire. The more difficult part was getting the ring onto the bolt and then securing it (took some bending of the ring.

Some people have also dremmeled out their eye hole a bit more.

Hope this helps.

i purchased a special grounding foot from ebay. (take the place of
terminals and they have screw crimps so they're reuseable) they're made of farily thick metal so i can grind them out if i have to.

but it will be about a week before i get there....still have yet to install the dynamat.

If you remove the trim panel inside the passenger door striker you will find a factory ground point (on the C5).

I used the factory ground point on the passanger side. It is just below the upper seatbelt retractor. There is one on the drivers side in the same location also.
