I just ordered a PAC Vette-1 Interface for my C5 so I could hook up my amp to the stock BOSE system. Please help! I have no idea how to install this thing. I have a 10" Woofer installed in the center rear compartment already and it is hooked up to my amp through the high imput speaker wires from my rear speakers. The amp has a fused power source running directly to the Battery and the amp-on wire is hooked up to the fuse box. It works fine, but I would think using the PAC would give me better sound and quality. Yes or No? and please help, how do I install this thing. Thanks.
you should get more low end bass with the pac, because with the stock setup the rear speakers dont get alot of lows. Basically you remove the radio install it in the back and run some RCA's to the amp. If there is already a remote wire hookedup to the amp just leave it and dont touch it. I think your question was kinda too general
So I take it I am going to have to buy some long wires w/RCA hook-up so it will reach the rear where my amp is mounted. Where is the best place to run the wires from behind the deck to the rear of the car?

go down the middle till you get to behind the seats, then go opposite side of were you ran the power cables for the amp.

If you have the raido out run your amp-on wire to the raido wile it is out.
Is the way you have it now, the amp turns on w/the key even if the raido is off?
W/a tester look for a green wire that is hot when the raido is on and not hot when the raido is off. I went the same way at first like you.
Im geting a pac to, my bass is real good going into the high level amp inputs. Im trying the pac to give it a cleaner look and the more bass the better
