Default Bose speaker impedence
Are the factory Bose 3.5" and 5.25" speakers 2 or 4 ohms? I am going to replace them soon (retaining factory headunit and amp) and would like to know what would be the best route.

4ohm so basically any car audio speaker will work

the speaker won't... but the amp will get hotter. I'm guessing the factory amp isn't rated for a 2 ohm load.

the deck will be running hotter, the speakers run off the stock HU. The 8" door woofer is the only one with an amp
