Default Speaker Clearance in C6

In the planning phase of redoing my stereo. Just wondering, what kind of room do I have for window clearance in the front doors of a C6? I'm looking to go with components and some of the mid/bass drivers look pretty deep. Was planning on using Kokomans cnc mounts.

If memory serves (questionable!) you have about 4" and maybe closer to 4.5". To give you an example, I know folks have mounted the Focal K2P's in that door, and the mounting depth of the midbass on that is 77mm (3.03"). It's a pretty hefty driver so you're probably good.

And thanks for considering my plates.

I have a set of DLS Reference (big magnets 4in) mounted with Dan's plates and they are bottom side mounted (not set into the plates) which increases the mounting depth. The passanger side had a clearance problem so I simply rotated the plate (since Dan optomized the speaker hole location to the door pannel hole). In this location depth is not a problem the magnet width is.

Great plates TheKomoman!

Thanks for the kind words guys.

Keep in mind that I do have blanks available and you can cut your own hole(s) for position & size.
