Bose speaker question???
I bought replacement Bose speakers for my '86 (only speakers no amps). The original rear speakers have a wire attached to a screw in the center of the magnet in addition to the two + / - wires. The replacement speakers don't have a threaded hole in the center of the magnet to reinstall this third wire. How important is this wire since the system works perfectly without it connected? Thanks for any help and info on this topic.
