Where to put 'brain'?

Where to put 'brain'?
Where the heck do you guys put the AVIC 'brain'? There is no room under the power passenger seat. Is the HU to brain cable long enough to put it in the rear storage compartment? It looks like it might not be. Will heat be an issue there?

Good tip, Mark, thanks!! I'll check that tonight.
Radio, the AVIC has to sit almost level for the nav function. Wish I had used Dynamat instead of the stuff I bought from a vender. Can't tell much difference in the road noise.

I have learned a whole lot more than I ever thought I would have to in trying to integrate this thing into the Bose system and keep all the factory features!!! 
There is no need for a car to be this complicated...and not sound any better. My wife's Impala sounds twice as good--but that radio is even more integrated into the car.
