Just wondering if anyone has mounted their subs a different way. It seems like most people just put them facing up in the back storage bin. I know space is a concern in our cars, but can 2 10's fit vertically in the storage bin? Maybe diagonally, compound loaded, or something else. Just wondering if it can be done so I can plan my system. thanks
i dont think it's possible with most of the woofers... you could mount two in an isobaric configuration but that's not going to give you the output that two subs will, all that'll do is cut the required box volume in half. What is your goal with trying to mount the subs in a 'non traditional' way?
btw: You can fit 2 10's side by side in the center storage bin.
No real reason for this, just trying to be different with my install. I know a bit about car audio and can do most of the work myself. I havent seen alot of different sub installs and was just wondering if there is a reason for it. thanks,
