u can either connect the positive lead of the tweeter to the tweet positive or the -3db it pulls down the level of the tweeter making it less harsh. Just put it at the -3db now and save yourself the hassle of messing with it later.

It depends on the position you mount the tweeter. Most of the time time in these small cabins you're better off using it as the tweeters will be relatively close to your ears. Pulling them down 3db is a good idea. My Focal components in my C6 have -3 and -6 on the Xover and I'm going to have to pull the door panel off to go to -6 on the front tweets. They're at -3 now and it's just too much.
