Default C5 Sub Box

Is it possible to make sub box that will house and amplifer and still be near flush with the rest of the cargo area? I'd like to keep everythingn as "oem" looking as possible. I trying to find a hard hitting woofer that doesn't require much volume. Any ideas?

It is possible, as one guy on here has done so, but I can't recall his name. You do lose some airspace in doing this. Depending on the subs you decide to use, this may or may not be a problem. Maybe he will chime in with better answers for you.

For hard hitting power, check out JL's 10w7. For a well rounded bass response, the w6 series it awesome. Note that the 12" w6 or w7 will require a specially built box and WILL NOT fit in a standard flush mount box. I believe the 10" models however will fit in a standard flush box.

Thanks Scott, that's what I needed to know. There was a member who actually does custom work for vettes and other cars I believe. In his website he had a pair of trick looking doors as well as the box that I'd like to build. It was a ported box with the woofer hidden. Cool design

You think the new slim design ED woofer will output enough sound. They claim it only needs a box .55ft3! I may be able to use one of these woofers with an amp in the same box. Now I just need to figure out which amp
