Replace Power Antenna on C4 with Fixed Mast

Hey,

Does anyone know if this will work? The power antenna on my '91 is shot. The mast is all bent out of shape and it doesn't look very pretty at all. I don't really "need" a power antenna.

I was just wondering if anyone has replaced their power antenna with a fixed mast type of an antenna and whether it worked and looked OK afterward. I'm just looking for a cheaper solution than paying upwards of $100 for a replacement power antenna with the retractable mast.

If motor is still running you can replace the mast.. I paid $15 for the mast and replaced it myself
