Default sven2 +svhgm4

Hello all, I have seen this discussed before, but I am still having problems hooking this up correctly. I am installing a new HU in a 2001 ZO6 and want to keep the bose speakers.
First question, does the sven2 and the svhgm4 tie in together, or do they work seperatly from each other?
Second question, I have the svhgm4 plugged into the sven2, and i am missing the 4 pin plug that ties into the factory harness.
Third question, when i had it all hooked up the subs weren't working I had no bass, but when I put the oem bose back in and didn't hook up that 4 pin wire harness I had all bass like if the other speakers weren't working?

These schematics are what I have. The svhgm4 don't have the harness for C3.
C1,C2, and C4 is hooked up.Do I need to jump a wire for the amps or something? Do I need the C3 plug?

Sorry such a long post and thanks in advance for the help.

Have you considered getting the PAC adapter instead of having 2 other adapters. Just a thought.
