A few days ago, UPS delivered my Hifonics Zeus 4 channel amp which I bought on Ebay. This amp is going to replace a 4 channel Profile amp which died in less than a year.
This amp looks great with a lot of neon blue and the Hifonics logo which lights up. Since it looked so cool, I decided to show it off a little and build a simple amp rack on top of the storage bins.
I really didn't want to install anything on top of the storage bins but, decided to, since I've never used the storage bins ever.
The amp rack is just a simple carpeted tray, with a carpeted plywood top cut out to reveal the Hifonics amp. It took me and my son 5 1/2 hours from start to finish.
This amp sounds very clean and is really quiet. I'm using channels 1 & 2 for the front 5 1/4" Infinity Kappa components and bridged channels 3 & 4 for the 10" Bazooka tube. It sounds really clean with powerful bass. I copied and used the amp setup procedure written by member "fej" in one of the threads I read here on the forum.
Thanks, for all the nice compliments. For my next project, I'm thinking of replacing the Bazooka tube with two 8" subwoofers in the stock rear speaker locations.
