Hi Scott. Thanks for asking. Some of these components are out of my last Vette, I put the stock stereo back and take them with me. The Clarion is a really nice deck, everything is run fully active through it, the guy who does the install I think is quite a good tuner. The Morels are fabulous comps, the Supremos are big and I wish there was a better location than the A-pillar but there isn't. Morel now makes a smaller tweeter called the Piccolo which I think is sonically as good and fits easier. A bit of comb filtering off the windshield which broadens the soundstage, it is time aligned for my seat. The imaging is right on. The JL 300/2 is loads of power for the Supremos, and the MTX is good for everything else. I don't run a lot of power through the subs, the Morels have so much bottom end I don't need to. The Focals are brilliant. I am really happy with the install too, they are quite picky. The amp rack cover is actually black to match the seats/carpets better.
Are there pics of your setup to see? Kevin
Great looking install and I'm guessing it sounds every bit as good as it looks.
I just quoted the question about Scott's setup for the amusement value.... pics would imply he's finished and I've begun to suspect that never happens. A pause perhaps but never a finish...
