I just bought a sub, and a amp. I want to run my factory HU untill later when i can afford more. I have a monster cable coverter that has speaker wires on one side and rca's on the other. I have done a search on this and have found out that the bose system does not put out much for the lower frequencys. Is it possiable to use this monster cable unit that i have. Is there anywhere that i can tap this thing into to get the signal that i need untill later on this summer when i can round up some more money. I just finished all of the mods in my sig over this winter and am at the bottom of the money barrell. At this point i have more time than money. Please help
nice choice of amp. I'm running the smaller 250 amp and i'm very happy with it.
The stock head unit on my mom's 98 has decent bass....dirty but it's there. Unfortionatly, your amp doesnt have a Bass boost feature, but it does have an Xover frequency adjustment feature. Depending on the speakers your running, you could run full range and expect pretty decent bass.
If you want any type of good sound get the PAC adapter. The line converters are terrible sounding, IMHO. Sell the monster on CL or Ebay and get yourself the PAC adapter, it sounds much better and costs around 40-50 bucks.
