StocK Bose Radio

I respect your guys opinions and advice so hear it goes. I have a 98 C5 With the stock Bose radio and CD changer in the back. Sounds OK but needs to be better. Rear speakers are worthless. Any suggestions without breaking the bank? Upgrades to radio or speakers? Both? What are you running with? Pointers to other related threads ? Thanks.

I just did edi components in the doors (135) edi sub(125) kicker 650.4 amp (ebay 177.50) deadening materiel(25) flush mount box with vette carpet(260) 4ga wire(50?) couple of harnesses(40) and install& other misc (125). That set up in my vert sounds awesome...under 1k
