alpine 7998 to ipod hookup help
i was gonna buy the Alpine- KCA-420i off ebay . i emailed the guy who is selling it to see if it would work with the alpine 7998, he said it wont work, is that true?. what do i need to make the ipod work with my 7998?

It will play the ipod, but you can only go back, forward, pause, play. You can't navigate albums/artists etc.
Best thing to do is pick the album, plug the ipod in, then use the 7998 to move around that particular album.
