Default Questions about Valentine Radar

Just received my V1 from EBay purchase & have a few questions.
First how & where are you guys mounting yours? Currently using the suction cup mount underneath the rearview mirror but it seems to contact the windshield once you level it. Also what mode do you use the most often? Thanks... :yesnod:

If you notice on the windshield mount there is no angle adjustment. It is designed to contact the windshield, just slide it in or out to get it level.

I am running mine in the middle mode, the little "L". The full alert mode just gets way too many auto door openers.

I have mine mounted on the windshield to the right of the rear view mirror. That way it can be hidden if I'm leaving my car with the top off for a while by rotating the sun visor down. I also run mine on little L.

I have it mounted to the right of the mirror. It took a little saliva on the suction cups to get a good stick. It does contact the windshield. It's easy to turn it on and off and adjust the volume in this location. It's also easy to disconnect and store in the glove box. I use the remote display, mounted on the steering column. It's in the big "L" mode. I plan to program it for fewer door-opener alerts.

I saw a Vette with a V1 mounted underneath the rearview mirror. Looked like a good setup. Is there a bracket available for this?
Also I am getting a lot of door/burglar alarms? on K Band. Is this common?
