Hello guys! Well I got my headunit installed on my car yesterday and it dosent sound the same. Ive adjusted all the bass, Trebel, balance etc and it does not sound like it did with the stock headunit. I have a 2001 Vette with the bose system and I was wanting to know what you think can be going on. I dont know if the bose system comes with amps or not but it sound as if the amplifiers werent kicking on? Your help will greatly be appreciated! -Double_Trouble
Anyways, you may need an adapter to get your subwoofers to work. I did an HU swap and it kept only my 3.5's up front and the rears working. The 8" subs in the doors were not and will not work without the adapter I believe?
I ended up just pulling everything and putting all new gear in. I'll post some pics when I finally get my Corvette "light-up" dash kit from the place in Canada.
Well guys I was talking to one of the audio places here in town and they commented something. They told me something like, I had to wire one of the wires directly to one of the speakers to get the bose system to kick on. Have yall heard anything like that before?
Well guys I appreciate the help! I guess Im going to go ahead and order the soundgate module. I just figured there was a way around it. There is always ways around stuff its just a matter of figuring it out! Thanks again guys!
