High pitched whine from sub?

High pitched whine from sub?
I have a 12" Solobaric sub, MB Quartz components and 2 HiPhonic amps, 600watt and 400watt, and a Pioneer deck. Forget which one, I bought the car with the stuff in it but am not too up on the whole stereo thing.
Noticed today that with key on and the radio on there is a high pitched whine coming from the sub itself which I thought was odd. Turn off the deck and its fine. There is a huge cap in the back and from what I've been told they did a top knotch install.
Had the car for 2 years now and this just came up.
Someplace I should start looking?
Oh and its not the fuel pump.
