Alpine and Bluetooth
I'm in the process of installing an Apline CDA-9857 HU in my wife's 99 coupe. Have the receiver working great. I then hooked up the bluetooth adapter, KCA-100BT. Got it to sync up with her motorola slvr L7 no problem.
Now when I recieve a call to the cell phone the receiver does what's it supposed to do, interrupt the playing music and I can then answer the call. But I can not hear the calling party over the cars speakers? They can hear me as I talk into the mike but I can't hear them. Any ideas on why this is happening?

I just took a peek at the manual for it on Crutchfield... says "Enter setup mode from the setup function on your head unit. "INT Mute" must be OFF. You may not have sound or functionality from the KCA-100BT without the process."

Thanks... That sounds logical. I'll give it a try tomorrow when I get home from work....
