Hey guys,
Just wondering, for those that have, bought it from and roughly how much they paid,Im looking to buy one just want to find the best price since they arent the cheapest out there.
Id almost have to order via internet as Im a longgggggg ways from decent civilization.

Oh, almost forgot, Is there a harness that would connect to the car, rather than splicing into everything? (C5 coupe, 99)
thanks

There's the standard harness for the GMs (20 pin) for the typical basic "install".

Are you using the stock Bose system, or..???

There's a lot of different things to input on this question, but I'd need to find out what car it's going into (B(l)ose Equiped?, what system you're trying to build, etc.

As far as pricing, drop me a line if you're interested in one. I don't deal in car-audio stuff, but I have a Pioneer account that I typically only use for my own purchases.

Hey DSSA,
Yeah I will be sticking with the stock bose stuff (at least for a while anyways) So all i want at this point is to change out the Head unit.

To keep the rest of the Bose System for now, you'll need an adapter such as:

http://www.logjamelectronics.com/soungmcrv1.html

You'll also need a GM antennae adapter (to adapt from the smaller, GM-type antennae plug to the industry standard size) like:

http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Metra...oductDetail.do

As far as fitting the double-din unit into a C5, check out:

http://www.corvettecaraudio.com/ (look under "Custom HUmounts").

You may want to take some time to read over the C5 Audio FAQ located at the top of this forum:

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1117959

Hope this helps.
