Default Does anyone know how to undo woodglue?

Problem..

i bought the build-it-yourself flush mount box kit from Audio Dave, and he was nice enough to mark off where everything fits together.

Unfortunately, the measurements are off where the bottom assembles to the top baffle. ITs too far back about 1/4" so it doesn't fit in the car assembled.

I have many many hours in the fiberglass volcano I built on top.

Ive tried a razorblade, but I just cant get the woodglue cut so I can seperate these pieces. There are no screws holding them together.

Any ideas?

May keep trying a razor blade long enough to cut in between the pieces, but probably the only other way is a jigsaw or dremel. You will lose around 1/8" from the cutting probably with the jigsaw and/or dremel. Sorry to hear about that as I know it is frustrating. Hopefully you will get it to work somehow. Could perhaps removing some of the carpet in the center compartment help? Probably not, but just an idea. Hope you get it squared away!

Yep, and to anyone reading, I don't mean to imply Dave does a bad job. This box is cut very well, but these things happen now and then, and i'm sure he would have helped me out if I had called him (but its sunday.)

i agree, **** happens. I received a bad parrot outta the box, so I'm still waiting. Also, I've seen a box fit perfectly in one car and not so well in another car of the same make and model.
