Recommendations for making my H/U screen readable?
I've got a Pioneer DEH-P7800MP in my '01 vert, and the screen is completely unreadable (goes pretty much black) whenever I have the top down or the sun's low in the sky. Is there any kind of tint or something I can overlay on the screen to make it actually visible?
Same problem with my Eclipse CD5000 in a Z06. Can't see anything in bright daylight. Shy of tinting the windows dark, I don;t know how you would fix this. I love this H/U but am not happy with daytime visibility...
Yes, you can buy pre-cut screen covers to cut down on glare problems
as well as fingerprints. Found some on Ebay for my Eclipse AVN6600. You will not be able to eliminate glare entirely but it helps a great deal.
Same problem here with my cd5000. Ive just learned to live with it.
Me too- text is to small to read while driving anyway. It helps to know where all the controls are. The only thing I really miss is my clock. Other than not being able to read the screen in sunlight, I think this is an awesome headunit for SQ.
