Gents, once I disconnect the battery terminal and unplug the harness from the stock H/U, are there any issues I need to worry about as far as things needing to be reset? If so, what would they be and how do I fix it?

If am installing a new H/U, is this locking and unlocking something I have to worry about ? For futer reference, How do you unlock it?

I just disconnected my battery last night for an install and didn\\\'t have to reset/reprogram anything. If you\\\'re replacing the H/U then you have no locking to worry about. Some of the factory radios are programmed with security codes (usually written in the manual) which needs to be entered if power is interrupted...you will know if this feature is \\\"armed\\\" if there is a flashing red light on the face of the radio when the car is off.
