Default Radar Detector Wiring

In the past, I've always been able to run the power wire from the radar detector to the fuse box by way of the small space between the windshield and body down the A pillar, etc. But, this is impossible in a vert. So, I'm looking for some ideas. Got any?

I simply tapped into the cigarette lighter circuit to do mine. I forget the name of the wiring connectors I used, but you wrap it around the wire you are tapping into, then insert the other wire beside it and crimp.

Use the accessory wiring harness under the passenger footwell. (see your manual for details on that) You can run the wire behind the sidewall of the passenger footwell and then to the outside of the A pillar. The wire will easily go behind the weatherstrip. At the top of the A pillar you can run the wire in the molding at the top of the windshield. The bottom is very tight so I ran it in the top and then at the mirror the wire drops down to the V1.

Hope that helps. :seeya
