Default What do you do with the PAC unit?

What a pain in the *** today. I finally got around to switching out a stock head unit. How the heck do you guys reinstall the antenna cable? Mine is so short I could not get it back in the connector. Also, I ended up not installing the PAC unit because I couldn't figure out where to put it after I got all the connectors connected. Do you just jam it behind the radio? I though I might want to view the leds on the box. But the wires aren't long enough to run it next to the radio. I could not push the radio deep enough to complete the attachment to the dash. My hands are big, but not that big...what can I do? Is there an antenna splicer I could buy to help out with the short piece from the factory?

the antenna wire must be caught/wrapped around something. removing the climate controls helps alot with moving wires around. just stash the pac adapter behind the climate controls thats where i always put em

thanks for the reply. I did not remove the climate control...probably should have. But I did have the cluster out for some other modding...you would think that would help! So, are you saying I can't veiw the LEDs ? Also, where do you run the gang of wires and connectors? I was trying to slip them down along the tunnel so I could hookup a sub later on, but when I did this I couldn't push the radio in deep enough.

ok i actually mount the pac adapter behind the hvac and snake the harness up to the radio and the radio is tight to go back in as it is because the black plastic plug slides into the metal so it snaps in kinda hard sometimes just shove it in and put the screws in. If i recall there are no LED's on pac adapter just adjustment screws but honestly they shouldnt need to be touched. You should be able to just snake the rca's down the side of the tunnel
