Hello,
I was just wondering how tough it is to replace the stock head unit with a new factory unit on a C5? The cd player doesnt read discs any more. Would I be safer going to the stealership? Thanks for any help

It's fairly easy. You'll need to remove the console etc. Somewhere here on the forum is a photo how to on changing out the instrument cluster. You essentially go thru the same steps {a few less though} to get to the radio unit. Once the center surround is out, there are two nuts to remove and 4 cables to change over to the new unit. 1 maybe 2 hours max.
