Stock System Problem.
The wife decided we should go for a nice fall ride through the country to see the changing leaves on the trees.
So, she says "hey lets put a CD in" which worked fine for about 10 minutes, then there was a screeching noise
out of one of the rear speakers (I think only one) sounded like I ran over a pig. I turned the unit off and tried
again, worked for a couple minute then the same thing. The wife then said "How much did we pay for this car"
Which made the ride all the more enjoyable.
Anyway, is this the symptom of the Capacitor failure that is in the tech tips section ? And can I disconnect the
bad speaker and still use the others, without doing more damage to the system ?
