Alpine PDX 4.150
What should be printed in the blue box on the birthsheet? It seems to me that the serial# should be on here somewhere.
Thanks

That is where the serial number goes on the 4.150 birthsheet.
Where did you get your amp?

Most internet discount vendors are grey market, so most of them cover up or mar the serial number. That way the items sold unauthorised can't be traced back to the source and stopped.

The serial# is on the amp though. I questioned the seller. I'll let you know what he says.

The birthsheet being from another amp was my 1st idea about why it had been removed, but who knows?

i doubt its from a different amp, no reason for that, they probably forgot about the serial numbers on the amp, as the one on the birth sheet are easier to spot.

Good news is that 174w per channel on that amp is on the high end .. mine only does 164w per. Hope you get it straightened out.

I hope so too, especially since I have a PDX 1.600 ordered through the same vendor.

At Least They're Consistant
Got my 1.600 and guess what?
The serial# on this birthsheet is also missing.
Vendor says that he gets them from his "distributor" that way.

Makes sense. Distributor doesn't want Alpine to pull his status for letting their gear go so cheap.
