C5 Alarm Upgrades

The C5 alarm is very weak :sad: IMHO due to the lack of both a shock and proximity sensor. Has anyone upgraded their alarm system ? Modified the stock alarm or added an aftermarket product. I'm hoping to make something work with the stock OEM remote. Any ideas or recommendations ?? :flag

I added the shock sensor to the alarm as mentioned in the post above. That works great and for $20-$30 it is a nice upgrade!
