Default fuse location for accessory power?

Can anyone tell me a fuse to look for that will work only with the accessories are switched on? I am trying to connect an XM radio receiver but everything I try in the fuse block on the passenger side floor is hot all the time.

Thanks,
Clint

your best bet is to just tap the ignition harness, orange is ACC, or brown is 2nd ACC

You should have an accessory plug with 3 loose wires on it under the top left corner of your passenger floorboard fuse panel cover. Most C5's have it, if I remember right all except 04's.

Click here to see the schematic for it. The plug should be visible, but the wires will be tucked up under something.

FYI, if you check out post #9 of the C5 audio FAQ's I have some info on how to use a RAP powered wire as the source if you're keeping the stock HU (so your XM will stay on with the radio until you open a door, not turn off with the car). For something as small as an XM receiver you wouldn't need the relay, just hook it up directly.

Thanks, I should be able to find it from this,
