Mp3's in a 2004
What now.
I really thought about using an Ipod, is that the way to go?
Just seems too fiddely, and all the "can't change tracks or volume with the stock HU, somewhat, detracts me.
Perhaps the way to go is take the stock HU out and fit an alternative HU that can play mp3's.
I was really hoping to maintain the Bose amp in the trunk, and the standard speakers, I think mine are actually very good.
perhaps thats because,
a) I don't know any better,
b) they are still "as new"
So is there a replacement HU that will go in in minimum fuss, and still maintain the Bose amp etc.
Just pull the two plugs out the rear of the stock HU, and fit an alternative HU, and either just push the two plugs back in to the new HU.
I suppose fitting a single DIN HU, isn't that much of a deal, so I would also consider one of those aswell as the DIN + half.
This is just getting me down now.
I really liked using the SD memory cards in my last HU.
