this isnt exactly an easy box to put together hence the price, i bet if u went to a local shop and asked how much to glass a pair of boxes it would be pricey
400.00 a pair with no subs
I smell Corvette Tax on this one. Hell, I could buy the boxes for my Charger loaded with a SQ10 for 175.00 each. Not saying they dont look nice or question the product quality, just seems high to me.
Dennis
My only guess would be the man hours involved in making the vette boxes. There is some sanding involved and fiberglass trimming after it hardens. Also, these 2 boxes beat the price of one jl stealth box.
I usually am the first to question vette tax, believe me. I'm not all about paying extra for a product that is clearly much cheaper to produce. Talking with these guys, you can tell they aren't about the car tax and what not. If they were they could be charging way more for their products, like jl.

Seriously, have you ever priced having these made. I checked a few local places and they wanted $450-$500 for them. And I know there is no way they would put the time and effort into making them this perfect.

I understand and not trying to **** anyone off!! I just voiced my two cents worth as thats what this forum is for. You guys know I am one who highly recommends eD products, and I was the the one who tried to attempt to go down months ago to have them use my car to do this but it didnt work out with my schedule/ weather. I guess it doesnt matter anyway cause I have a coupe and they wont fit correctly.

Dennis,
I know you weren't trying to **** anyone off, and just trying to voice a concern. We know you and especially know that you like the ed products. I was trying to make my response sound as neutral as possible and make it just that a response. I wasn't trying to defend the price, well kind of, but more try to think of a way that the price came about. It is pricier than a regular box but there is more work involved. everyone appreciates feedback and i know you personally Dennis and know that you don't mean to **** anyone off and I didn't mean to **** anyone off either.
