Lost V1 head unit... NEED another... anyone?
Anyone have one laying around that they're not using?? I just got a C5 yesterday and I'm a little concerned.

as soon as the 8500 adds arrows and a bogey counter, it will come to #1. As it stands, the V1 is #1.
I do have one, but it's not for sale. It's an antique.

Escort 8500 shouldn't be used in the same sentence as the Valentine 1. Escort hasn't made a top notch detector since Cincinnati Microwave was running the show.

Regardless of which side of the friendly debate you are on, a comment like that just makes you sound ignorant. Both detectors are very good. Which is better depends on the tester and user preference. I have the Escort, but my next one will probably be the V1.
