Dave came to my house recently to remove the driver door panel so we could install a new driver door control module. He is fearless. Removed the panel. I would been afraid once I heard all the popping and noises the pins make when pulling. Swapped the module and back together in 10 minutes. He had the new sub enclosures and subs in his car . They look and sound awesome. I asked him to show me the big three. as I was having severe dimming problems with no fancy power consuming add ons .
I still do not know what we were looking at as he showed me on his car and after he left I looked in my car and still am pretty clueless So Friday night I took the car out and even with the A/C off you could still see major dimming and flickering of A/C and radio display. So yesterday I again looked for the grounds and if they are what I think they all looked ok. I have halos and from the beginning I had pretty good hyperflash that would come and go. I added the load equalizers that helped some. I then thought about all the posts about battery condition etc. I had put a new AC/Delco 6 yr battery in the car last November when I bought the car from my sister. I took out my wrench and checked the battery connections and they were a little loose. Tightened them and suddenly better voltage 13.8 to 14.4 and no more dimming. An easy and free solution. I know it is no big deal to most of you but I am pleased at the fact I was able to correct the problem.
