I've got a 2007 C6 with a base radio which apparently has no way to input audio directly. The Sirius FM modulator even using the FM antenna extender is pretty marginal. It gets a bit of static and has dropouts now and then.
Any other suggestions short of getting a new head unit?

They work very well. When you turn the power on the sirius radio, the relay disconnects your car's antenna and only sends the FM station from your sirius tuner. It comes in as clear as a strong FM station. You will need an antenna adapter for your radio. Metra's antenna adapter model number is 40-GM10

I put one in my wife's Fusion. Works great. I plan to use the same setup in my 92 convertible this fall.
