Default Help with Audio Dave! Please!!!!

After a few emails, I was able to get a response from Audio Dave on a
C6 subwoofer and AMP rack, I was fine with the price and want to proceed with it. I have called, left messages and left emails asking what he needs and how to proceed. Now when I call, the answering machine does not even pick up… I also want to know the time frames for completion of these items.

If anyone is close to him or knows the magic formula for contacting him or getting a response, please let me know as I would like to finish this install…

Thanks in advance!!!

Thomas

I know that he isn't the fastest, and sometimes hits delays, but I'd be very surprised if he blows it off :/

Does anyone else at his shop ever answer?

Hope everythings ok.

Depends on "shop" the Store he works at indicated he was out today but they had no connection to the Vette business he does here, his number on his web site just rings with no answer, prior to today, it had an answering machine in it.

I REALLY like this guys work and want to work with him, I just don't know how to at this point and it been about a week since any contact...

They pretty much indicated that he "built" the stuff there, and I did get the impression that he worked there. As to the ownership, I can't address that, but it was not my impression.

Again, that is only my impression...

He does not own the shop where he works. The corvette audio is a side business and he can only answer emails and pm's at night. He can take a long time to get a hold of, been there done it and bought the tshirt! A good looking website can make a hobby look like a big company.

Yes, he can be hard to get ahold of. He did a sub box (C6 coupe) for me earlier this year. It will be worth the wait. I love mine. I found that e-mail was the easiest way to get him.

I traded emails with him a couple of weeks ago after my order didnt ship for a few days. At that time he was getting ready for the arrival of their new baby. He apologized for the delay and shipped my stuff priority on his dime. I imagine the new baby has arrived by now and keeping him busy. Just keep emailing him and he will respond eventually.

I appreciate everyone's responses, due to timing (and the fact I have a big honking subwoofer in the back stopping me from removing my roof) I ordered the Stealth.

If he ever responds or gets back on here, I would love for him to build an amp rack...

Of course, if anyone else on here does that, please PM me...

Thanks!

Make sure you post pics of the JL stealthbox and your opinion when you get a chance. I'm thinking about doing the same thing. I have everything already installed and a wire waiting for the sub

I would be more than happy too... Right now, the reference is a 10inch square Kicker sub that takes up way too much room so my opinion will be based on the differences there.

I have had a similar experience with Dave. I have been trying to get him to build me a high dollar custom fiberglas sub and amp enclosure system for my car. He has not responded to phone calls or messages at all. I have also been to his shop twice (100 mile drive) to talk to him. He has never followed up.

In my case, I would think that he would want to really show his ability on a high dollar install.

I sent him an e-mail a few days ago and asked him why he has not followed up with me. Still no response.

Today I went to a local shop and had a good talk with the owner. He is very eager to get my business, and he will earn it!

As for Dave, "YOU SNOOZE, YOU LOSE" !!!
