radar placment...
where did you mount your radar.....i have a 08 ill be picking up in a few weeks and i already bought a V1...now im thinking of getting the Invisicord ...how does it all look together... will the 8 inch Invisicord be long enuff...thanks

My Escort is mounted in the same place using what appear to be the same style mount. I purchased mine from WCC. Works great. Oh and invisicord is about the neatest, simplest, oh-why-didn't-I-think-of-that product I have ever seen. Works great!

If you look at Komoman's pic, mine (V1) is mounted just to the right of the "dots" at the top of the windshield...
I just used the standard suction cups and I hardwired (this was before invisacord...)

I have mine midway between the dash and rear view mirror, its saved my a$$ SEVERAL times, I dont have one in my daily driver and guess what happend 2 days ago..............a speeding ticket

ALso, now that I see all the modernized C5 mirrors, Hrmm, I wonder if I can wire one into my C4, move the temp sensor up to the mirror and call it a day

I got my mount from West Coast Corvette. THey have them for both the Passport and the Valentine 1. I beleive the Passport version would also work with many other detectors...my old Whistler used the same spade-style mount, for example.
