Does '08 C6 2LT have a Factory Amp?
I'm going to be installing a Alpine IVA-W205 in my non-bose 2008 2LT Coupe.
Does my car have a factory amp? I dont plan on replacing speakers.

Yes, there is an outboard amplifier in the non-Bose C6 setup. It is installed in the same location as the Bose amp, passenger footwell.
It is a common install mistake in our cars to assume that there's no outboard amp because it's not Bose. When installing a module like the Peripheral GMCO follow the instructions as if it were a Bose system.
