Default Looking for Digital Ammeter

I'm looking to install a Digital (preferrably LED) Ammeter for my sound system to keep track of how much power it's using. Does anyone know where I can get one of these?

thanks.

They're common in the marine industry. They're also a few hundred bucks apiece, and depending on the manner they get wired in, can get in the way of transient response.

You can get them from any of the big electronics suppliers. Mouser, Allied, etc. Probably about $50.

wiz1500 said he wanted an inductive model.

An inductive model senses the strength of the magnetic field induced around the wire by the current running through that wire. It has no physical connection to the power source, whereas a standard ammeter does.

Reguarding this model:

How would one wire this? I'd like to monitor the main power wire to the sound system but i don't see any way to run a 4 awg wire through it.

I believe you need a shunt
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-0...spagenameZWDVW

http://cgi.ebay.com/50A-50MV-A-AMP-A...QQcmdZViewItem

There are some on ebay that has both of them (shunt and meter).

The one you are looking at says >An isolated power module is required If you want to measure the current from a device that share the power with the meter. If not, it will cause common ground error.

I believe he is saying it needs a shunt? email him and ask him, Is an isolated power module a Shunt?

Hope this helps?
