Is there a way to connect another type of MP3 player to a stock Corvette radio like the Ipod 2 car connections.....
I haven't seen a straight-up AUX connection to the stock heads, but if you have factory XM then you can tap into the analog wires same as the folks with iPods are doing.
If you get a device like the IPod Lockpick, there is an Aux Input on it as well. You can use a miniplug to RCA cable to connect your external player to it.
On both of my C5s I use the Peripheral’s AUX2CAR unit with the PXHGM4 adapter cable. The module fits nicely in the space directly behind the head unit. The module cables out RCA inputs and I fabbed up a mini-stereo jack. Now I can connect any audio source (iPod, MP3 Player, Car Computer, etc) and select the Aux port by pressing the Bose CD button twice.
