Just in case anyone is wondering....
The Bose amp can be bypassed, but the fre#$ing woofer is on 1/2 ohm!
Not too many amps out there that are stable at 1/2 ohm.

I remember...
Orion 225 HCCA:
25 x 2 @ 4 ohms.
50 X 2 @ 2 ohms.
100 X 2 @ 1 ohm.
200 X 2 @ 1/2 ohm.
Those were the days...

I never owned a 225HCCA... but I currently own four 250 HCCA's.
Two are G2 models, two are G3 models with the crossover modules.
My stupid, impatient, silly azz installed them on the side of a sub box in my Suburban behind the back seat... and when I went to drop the seat to show them to my bro-in-law, I noticed it was hard to drop the seat down. WTF? So I pushed...
Turns out, the seat had a big azz metal part on the bottom of the hinge that cut a pretty nice 1/4" crease/cut perpendicular to the heat sink of one of the G3 model amps.
I just about puked.
Sure, it sounds great... but I gorfed the looks of the amp.

I knew a guy that worked at Orion in Tempe, and I was trying to get a custom heat sink from him when the company was "changing." I didn't move fast enough, damn it.
