Default C5 Install...

Anybody see a problem with this?

I have a JL 10w6 that I'll use a Stealth box in the trunk hole.

I have a JL 500/1 to power it.

I have a set of Focal KP 5" and Tweets for the front door panels.

I have a JL 300/2 to power those and wish to add a set of tweets in the door handle openings for better highs.

Should I add a set of 5" mid's or 5.25 coxials to the rear speaker openings and power those with low power off the Multi-media head unit I'm installing ????

I have an Alpine 9855, like new I'll sell for $150 plus shipping.

Thanks

Why are you using 5" for the front?

Those are 8" spots man

door handle is not hte best place, but better than in the door itself maybe.

But if you really want to do the door handle thing, I have a pair of door handles that are cut out for Focal TN51 tweeter.

I'll send you the modified door handles for $30 + shipping, so you can save the $60 cost of replacing the ones you have when the time comes.

Or I'll trade them + cash (120 + the difference in shipping) for that 9855 of yours.

Here they are with the Focal TN51:

of course tweeter not included.

IMO, I would get a larger woofer (at least a 6.5") for the front, and move your existing 5" speakers to the rear locations. This will help to fill the low-mid frequencies between the sub and midrange giving you a fuller sound.
