Scosche FM-MOD01 Modulator

Has anyone used an antenna modulator to avoid the expense of GM cables? The Scosche is about $20 vs over $100 for the two GM adaptors.
I trying to hook up a MP3 player to a C5 factory unit.

yup, generally they work fine although sound quality is a little bit less but on a stock stereo most wont notice it

I have that exact model. I do not like it, although I do live in an urban area. If I had to do it again, I would spend the money and do it right.
